"Hello! I'm Anjana! I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Cell Biology/Neuroscience and Philosophy from Rutgers University Honors College and am currently pursuing my doctorate at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. My academic journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of both the sciences and the humanities, allowing me to approach problems from interdisciplinary perspectives.

I have extensive experience in teaching and tutoring, having worked as a teaching Assistant, science instructor, and writing tutor at Rutgers for 4 years. I have led many small study groups, workshops, and recitations, particularly in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Genetics, and in writing analytical research papers. I love helping students engage in different modalities of thinking and interacting by using novel activities and methods to encourage their agency and passion for learning.
