"I have been professionally tutoring elementary students since 2010. I started my tutoring career specializing in reading skills and comprehension. I now am able to specialize across the board for the subjects of English, history, and geography and I have a homeschooling background. I am a homeschooling mother of 4 and a teacher and educational co-op leader. My co-op teaching experience covers preschool education, science, and geography.

I enjoy tutoring very much. I prefer the individualization that tutoring provides and being able to work with students one on one. I enjoy teaching a student in a personal way and changing up the material to gear it toward a way they will understand, grasp, and stay interested in.

I have been tutoring the subject of English since 2010. I started my college career studying Secondary Engish Education and I have completed my Masters of Teaching Ministries and Bachelors of Homeschooling Ministries. I also have experience with teaching English as a second language which has strengthened my tutoring skills. As a supervisor for international high school exchange students, I have had to learn and help with creating a deeper understanding of English and speaking English as well as create ways to say the same thing but in understanding manners.

As a homeschooling mother of four, all of my daily teaching experience is elementary education on many different levels. I teach every day all subjects and must gear the same material to four different age groups and levels. This comes in handy when tutoring and gives me more experience on customizing learning needs.

I am a co-op leader and teacher. I started a local co-op with three other mothers to serve the community. This educational co-op grew to serve over 30 children ages 2-11. I have had the opportunity to teach at the preschool level and teach science and geography for all ages.
