"Hello! My name is Keith and majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University. In addition, I have finished a Mathematics degree at CUNY Queens College. I understand that knowing math and teaching math are two different things. I am extremely confident in delivering material effectively.
I have been tutoring math for more than three years, and is knowledgeable for both High School/College math. A significant example would be being a teacher assistant for Calculus in College and tutoring during office hours. My students always satisfy with the huge improvement they made, and tend to feel confident on next stage. If possible, I like to apply real-life example to help my students to picture the question. I care about their think process more than only solution. Most importantly, I believe everyone has the potential to do well on math, as long as we find a suitable teaching method.
In knowledge-wise, I have earned an A-grade in all my math courses and able to explain the materials. While I am still a student, my memory is fresh on all math subjects. Moreover, I am able to prepare updated questions and exam strategies to my students. With my experience, I will maximize your potential and grade.
I specialize in, but not limited to, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus and SAT Math. These are the subjects I usually tutor. My biggest promise is to teach my students until they fully understand the topic. Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information!" less...
