"Hi, my name is Loiza! I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Engineering from The College of New Jersey. I also have my Engineer In Training (EIT) licensure which is the initial step to becoming a licensed engineer. (I have passed the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering Exam).

While in school and in college, the teachers who made the classroom experience the most memorable and impressionable for me were the ones who went the extra mile to make students feel like they truly understood concepts and knew they could do what it takes to excel at the content taught to them. Creating environments in which students can excel in their learning and know how to use their skills best is something I learned from some of my best teachers and want to share with students I meet with.

I have 1 year of tutoring experience I did while in College, tutoring Calculus, Algebra 1 and 2, Differential Equations, Statistics, and a few other subjects as well. I worked directly with students 2-3 times per week outside of the classroom to tailor to individual needs and explore and solidify with them what worked best for their learning style.

I have also 1 year of experience tutoring German to K-12 students, as I am a fluent German speaker. I have my Deutsches Sprachdiplom II, which certified my C1 level in German at the speaking, writing, and reading levels.
