"Hi! My name is Lucia. I currently am a senior at Columbia University in the School of Engineering majoring in biomedical engineering. I graduated from high school with a 104 weighted GPA last year, I was a semifinalist in the Regeneron Science Talent Search, I am a Dean's List student, and I got into universities like Johns Hopkins and Boston University.

As an engineering student with a strong dedication to STEM, I am qualified to help in any NY Regents Science or Math courses, and with standardized test scores like the SAT and ACT. I achieved high grades in these classes when I took them and scored a 1500 on the SAT. I have been tutoring for six years. In high school I had five students who saw their grades in Earth Science, AP Bio and Algebra II improve. Through Wyzant, I have helped students improve their SAT scores and math grades. My primary focus as a tutor is to maximize understanding and reinforcement in learning through smart, repeated practice.
