"I love learning and I love sharing my knowledge with others in a fun and creative way that is tailored to each learners learning style. I've gained what knowledge I have through formal education from several universities and life experience fed by my need to know everything. I graduated from the Community College of RI with an Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in Fine Arts in 2017. I also graduated from Rhode Island College the same year with dual Bachelor degrees, one in History with a concentration in European History of the Renaissance and Reformation periods, and the other in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology. In 2020 I graduated from Capella University with a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis that left me eligible to sit for the BCBA exam, but, you know, COVID-19. The beginning of 2024 I began my Master of Arts degree program in Developmental Psychology, which I will be completing in Summer 2025.

I love being able to connect with my learners to better be able to meet them where they are and help them get to where they want to be. I have been a G.S. Troop Leader, a substitute teacher, a daycare worker/teacher, an ESL teacher, and mom to four kids ages 17-5. I also have taught ESL/ELL through online platforms to children in Asia. I am very knowledgeable and well practiced in working with children with learning differences and/or delays. I think if I were to have a target demographic, it would be working with kids who need that extra boost that maybe learns differently than peers, no matter the age. Kids with ASD/ADHD tend to get a bad rap, but they are just a little different and no less deserving of education.

I am approved to tutor in English for all grades, Sociology, Criminology, Social Sciences, and various History categories. I also enjoy homework helping for nearly every subject. I am nearly fluent in Spanish and can tutor ELL.
