"Hello, my name is Hannah. I am a tutor and teacher specializing in Writing and English.

Teaching and writing are my passion. My experience teaching at the University level has taught me that everyone is a good writer with the right encouragement and motivation. Similarly, my experience as a K-12 tutor has shown me that we are all born with an innate passion for words. Through my tutoring and teaching style, I attempt to re-kindle that love of writing while ensuring students get the practical help they need.

I began tutoring during my time in Undergraduate school from 2015-2019. Since then I have gone on to obtain my Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Mary Washington and a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Emerson College. These degrees allowed me to receive a job teaching multiple writing courses at the collegiate level over the past year.
