"I am a UC Berkeley graduate with a B.Sc in Chemical Engineering (concentrated in Materials Science and Engineering) and a minor in Chemistry.
I have been tutoring since I was a freshman in high school, and during my years as an undergraduate at Berkeley, I was given the opportunity to work as a university-employed tutor for the College of Engineering's Center for Access to Engineering Excellence (CAEE), where I taught coursework ranging from multi-variable calculus and linear algebra to organic chemistry and quantum mechanics. The Center stresses the importance of cordial relations between students and tutors as one of its core values, and it's one of several that I've taken to heart to improve the tutoring experience.
Aside from the courses explicitly advertised on my profile, I also offer aid with complex analysis, tensor calculus, classical/quantum field theory and Lagrangian mechanics, reaction engineering, transport phenomena, statistical mechanics, special/general relativity, and process control theory.
If you are interesting in hiring me as your tutor, you will be given a copy of the blackboard that we worked on at the end of each session to keep for your studies/review. Additionally, if an established student feels that they only have a couple of brief questions that do not necessarily warrant formalizing an entire session, they may request a complimentary consultation at any time (at the tutor's discretion), free of charge! Students are encouraged to seek this option, though please be advised that it should be used conservatively, and only after amiable relations have been established.
Thank you for taking the time to consider seeking me as a tutor, and I eagerly look forward to working together with you in the future!" less...
