"Hello! I’m Christine! I'm so happy you're here! As a writer of fiction and nonfiction, my background is focused on all forms of writing. I currently work with college students in essay writing for English and various humanities disciplines. I have a Bachelor’s degree in English and Sociology and a Master’s in Communication. I was a Teaching Assistant at Rutgers University, where I earned my master's, and also at Columbia University. I helped students with their papers, from idea generation to fleshing out the whole paper, including line-by-line editing. Also, I worked at Princeton University in the sociology department for nine years, editing and proofreading academic articles for publication, including seven books in MLA and Chicago style guides. Additionally, I assisted graduate students with their thesis and abstracts for journal articles and dissertations.

I can help you with discussion boards, essays, reports, and research papers on various subjects. In addition, I can teach you the basics of writing: brainstorming, creating an outline, understanding the parts of an essay, and conducting research. While we work together, I point out grammar and punctuation errors. My job is to help you flourish and believe in yourself and your writing abilities.

However, if your paper needs extra help, I can provide proofreading and editing services in combination or separately from lessons. I can point out errors in word choice, sentence structure, organization, and citations and provide recommendations. If you want additional editing, we can discuss that later.

As a published author. I have written both fiction and non-fiction and have provided editing assistance and research assistance to students in the past. I am able to readily identify the strengths and weaknesses in a piece of writing and can offer constructive guidance on how to improve the final product.
