"I'm a fan of doing innovative things with data. I work as a data scientist for a crime watchdog and in my free time run a platform that lets citizens analyze crime in their neighborhoods throughout Mexico City.

I have been learning, working with and teaching R for over four years. I am especially skilled at R programming, geospatial analysis and map making, data wrangling, string manipulation, report building, automating busy work, data visualization, function writing, and building data apps and platforms with R shiny.

As an intern at the UN Economic Comission for Latin America and the Caribbean, I discovered a love for teaching R and programming as I was given the chance to give four intensive workshops to train UN economists and sociologists in the lastest tools and methods for data analysis.

I have trained over 30 UN economists on how to use R to do complicated tasks and make their work easier, I also developed and launched one of the first comprehensive introduction to R courses on Udemy given completely in Spanish. Because I remember how complicated learning R was when I first started, I love to teach and help others learn the language.
