"Hello, I’m Andy. I have a passion for teaching and for IT. My first job was as a teacher in the School District of Philadelphia. After teaching I went on to have a career in the IT industry in Support and as a Technical Trainer. I have trained system administrators around the United States and India in System Administration for the WebLogic server, which is now part of Oracle Corporation. In my support career, I supported large enterprise systems and focused on many of the security aspects of those systems.

I have worked for several large software companies, including BEA Systems, which is now part of Oracle Corporation, and Blackboard Inc., which makes a Learning Management System.

I am now an instructor and curriculum developer for a national workforce development program. My students go on to earn internships with large companies in the Bay Area and many get jobs in their chosen area, after completing their internship. I continue to give one-on-one support to my students outside of the classroom coaching them on skills they will need for their positioning and preparing them for the job interview process. My experience working in support of large systems can help guide you in real-world situations you will have to face and skills you would have to demonstrate in the job interview process. Courses I have taught focused on Cybersecurity, IT Helpdesk, and AWS Web Services.

I am passionate about coaching young adults and helping them start their careers in the IT Industry IT Support, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Services.
