"Hello, my name is Rachel and I graduated with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California at Berkeley as well as Summa cum laude in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I have taught both Biology and AP Biology in High school for over 10 years as well as a Graduate Student Instructor for University Biology I and labs while getting my Master’s in Biology. I have also successfully tutored for AP Biology and Texas Biology STAAR testing for thousands of students for 10+ years.

My experience teaching has prepared me to teach a variety of students and subjects and has required me to be flexible and adaptive in my teaching style. I am a determined, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and highly motivated tutor. I enjoy working with students and planning innovative lessons that are relevant to their lives and adaptive to their diverse needs.
