A former Congressional staff member (and later lobbyist), James served as the director of the Congressional engagement program at The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars, where he developed and led an academic program to teach undergraduate students about Congress and the legislative. Through that program, he has helped thousands of students find their civic voice through personalized meetings on Capitol Hill with Members of Congress and legislative staff.
