"I hold a Bachelor of Science in Informatics (concentration in UX Design) and Digital Arts & Media with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin. My academic and professional experiences have provided me with strong communication, problem-solving, and teaching skills, which I now apply to tutoring English (K-6), ESL, and graphic design. With a passion for education and creativity, I strive to create engaging, tailored lessons that cater to each student’s unique needs.

My teaching journey began in high school, where I tutored English, guided students in SAT/ACT preparation, and supported them through the college admissions process. Over time, I worked with a diverse range of learners, including ESL students, helping them strengthen their language skills and confidence. My passion for education deepened during my time with Girls Who Code, where I led workshops on UX design, design thinking, and coding. In these sessions, I taught a variety of coding languages and creative platforms, including the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, and more). These workshops emphasized not only technical proficiency but also creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking—skills I continue to instill in all my students.

While I have worked with students across different age groups and academic goals, I have developed a strong passion for working with younger learners, particularly those in K-6. I believe in fostering curiosity, confidence, and creativity in an interactive and supportive learning environment.
