Welcome! Allow me to start with my teaching philosophy:

Teaching for me is about the joy of seeing someone 'get it' for the first time. My tutoring style revolves around interactive exploration of the problems together, rather than just going straight to the answer. This is extremely important, because it teaches the student how to get to the answer on their own when they don't have the tutor by their side. Further, I am a very patient teacher regardless of current skill level or ability.

To share a little bit about myself, my educational background includes a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Over the past seven years, I've gained substantial experience in the AI and software industry, working with companies like Cray, BestBuy, and Udemy, and even starting my own SaaS company, Insight.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I've dedicated myself to mentoring and teaching. I've mentored a student through a capstone project in machine learning, culminating in an award-winning text-to-speech model. This experience solidified my commitment to helping others achieve their academic and professional goals. I've also engaged with the younger generation as a guest speaker and volunteer at a machine learning camp for high schoolers at the University of Minnesota outreach/summer-camps, sharing my knowledge and passion for AI and ML.
