"Hi, my name is Angie, am a Bilingual EC-6th and Spanish EC-12th Certified Teacher with a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a specialization in Digital Literacy. Both of my degrees were obtained at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. My love for education has kept me in school and I am currently completing my doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Education Technology.

As a Curriculum specialist, during my day job, I enjoy designing amazing lessons to help students meet their goals. During my tutoring time, I do exactly the same! Yes, I am a Spanish teacher by heart! Am a native Spanish speaker who has been tutoring and teaching it for the last 7 plus years. My education journey began working as a Spanish tutor online and slowly moved up to become a full-time Spanish teacher for students in more than 24 states. My second love in education is ESL or Bilingual Education. I am certified as an EC-6th Bilingual Generalist Instructor. I have taught reading and social studies in Kinder and 5th grade. Though I do have experience teaching in a brick and mortar school, most of my experience comes from teaching online. I am truly passionate and enthusiastic about ed-tech. I have experience teaching using, google hangouts, skype, zoom, adobe connect and major learning platforms such as Blackboard, Moodle and Canvas.
