"Hi, I'm David! I'm a National Merit scholar. I attended Grinnell College in Iowa and majored in history. I currently live in St Paul. In addition to history, I've studied literature and philosophy in depth. I'm a published author of fiction as well as political analysis. I've also worked as a public speaker, giving lectures on history.

For the past couple years, I've been a tutor for the Clary Group in California. The Clary Group provides tutoring to University students in a wide range of subjects. I've tutored students taking courses in everything from Economics to Anthropology and Philosophy.

Most of the students I work with speak English as a second language. While they may be fluent in their daily life, often they struggle to express abstract or complex ideas in English. I help students develop their thoughts and improve their writing skills regardless of the topic." less...
