To be honest, I once struggled with these subjects myself until I discovered effective ways to study them. I've been through the grinder! Math and physics can be confusing, discouraging, and downright stressful. Over my six years as a tutor, though, I've also seen that under the right conditions anyone can learn anything. That's why above all else, I strive to create a good learning environment - relaxed, curious, communicative, and yes, challenging. Here's what you can expect from our sessions:
- I'll make you feel comfortable asking lots of questions.
- We'll work through problems until we find gaps in your understanding.
- If something doesn't make sense, I'll find customized explanations until you find your 'Eureka!' moment.
- I'll validate and help you directly address any stress related to problem-solving, test taking, or general subject content
A bit more about me. I have applied my knowledge of math and physics in machine learning and neurotechnology, which ultimately led me to my current role as a data engineer at a medical device startup. I've also spent the past six years tutoring everything from grade school math to college physics, particularly specializing in high school math, AP Calculus, and AP Physics.
