"I graduated from Boston University with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. This is a liberal arts degree, meaning I’ve taken courses that encompass a wide variety of academic subjects. I served as a teaching assistant for the Intro to Biology course for two years. This class had over 500 students! Biology is my passion. I am well-versed in human genetics; my senior thesis is titled “Work Toward A Minimally Invasive Diagnosis of Hereditary Fructose Intolerance in the North American Population.”

I completed two years of graduate work at the Scripps Research institute where I studied cancer biology, immunology, and glycobiology– the science of sugars! I’ve performed well on standardized tests (SATs and GREs) and am excited to help others conquer these necessary exams! I took calculus up to Calculus IV (differential equations) so I can also help with those pesky integrals. I've worked as a tutor for almost a year and have helped dozens of students understand complex concepts and master standardized tests. In my spare time, I love to cook and watch TV.
