I have taught math in Public Schools for the past two years and I have tutored through Wyzant for the past seven years. Before that, I managed a private national learning center, working with students of all ages in test prep; homework support; remedial work; and enrichment in math, English, reading, and writing. I take pride in explaining concepts clearly, providing relevant examples, and seeing my students light up when they finally get it! I also believe in giving back to others and was recognized multiple years as an "Above and Beyond" volunteer in my local school district.

Having tutored ACT/SAT and other standardized tests for years, I am familiar with all subjects, and I know how to explain the necessary skills and concepts to my students. Whenever possible, I incorporate standardized test strategies and study skills into all of my tutoring activities.
