"Hi, there! This is Pence. I am currently a Tech Lead at MAANG, in NYC. In late 2015 I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science. After that I have been in the big tech companies, growing from the role of individual contributor to manager.

My experience ranges from programming and support for different languages (C++, Python, Javascript etc.) and teaching various topics to adult learners. I also, teach youth Computer Science labs part-time at Columbia University.

I have always loved to teach students and help them expand their knowledge outside of the classroom. And have been a mentor to 200+ students in the past 10 years.
