"I have been an educator for many years. I have a master's degree in Education with a focus in Reading and an undergraduate degree in science. I have been teaching math for many years and have trained teachers on how to teach in ways that effectively teach math learners. I am excellent at preparing students for tests; currently, I work with adult students who are working on their HS diplomas.

I enjoy teaching math to students from 4th grade all the way to college, including GED/TASC students. I am very good at working with students who do not necessarily have a good relationship with math. I know what it takes to break down concepts without talking down to students. I am also extremely experienced with working with students who love math and want extra help to excel more with their skills. I have successfully helped high achieving students prep for and get accepted to specialized high schools.

I have expertise in assessing students' strengths and areas of need. I individualize my teaching for the student that I am working with and am very good at teaching strategies that will help in learning math or test prep.
