Your test performance and academic success are my highest concern! It is my mission to help you steadily, confidently and fast improve the performances. It wins you the test scores and improved academic grades for entering prestigious universities. It wins me the reputation for my lifelong teaching career.

I like teaching. I am a young, passionate, patient and experienced teacher, guiding students to confidently face their tests. I have helped more than 50 1-on-1 students dramatically and fast improve their test scores (e.g., SAT Math and Physics, AP, IB Math and Physics, China National College Entrance Examination, etc). I am very familiar with and strong in various fields of math and physics. I help students understand clearly the related concepts, techniques and thoughts that they need for the test improvements.

My teaching and academic background

I have taught and tutored math and physics for more than 10 years in the United States and in China. I have taught math and physics to students from various countries. I love teaching and communicating with the students. Most of them become my lifelong friends.

I pursued my degrees in China (BSc, Ph.D. in Materials Physics and Chemistry) and the U.S (Master of Arts in Teaching). While I was in China, I was the frequent participant of the fiercely competitive math and science competitions in the city of Guangzhou, the population of which is about 20 million (twice of that of the New York City). By making vigorous test prep efforts toward various kinds of examinations, I paved my road to achieving the Ph.D. from one of the most prestigious universities in China. I have built up my methods and psychologies to achieve success in the standardized tests.

I have majored in physics and obtained a Ph.D. in materials physics and chemistry (i.e., solid physics and chemistry) with professional publications in the field of physical chemistry (Google Scholar JiaJun Tang), which verifies my qualification.
