"Summary of Experience

My experience in Microsoft Excel is vast and has been honed by doing a variety of projects for paying clients, creating spreadsheets for my personal use, and tutoring college students on how to create forecast models for their finance classes.

Some of my projects include making a classroom database spreadsheet for teachers at the Worcester Public Schools, creating financial forecasts on business plans for the purpose of obtaining funding, and creating statistical models for clients who wanted to summarize and analyze their data.

Giving instructions and consultation is what I love to do based on listening to the needs of my students and/or clients. Whether a student is a beginner and wants to learn the basics or the student is at an intermediate level and wants to learn more of the intricacies to become advanced, I can help them achieve their learning objectives and their potential. Being a certified Microsoft Excel expert, a certification given by Microsoft, has given me the confidence to teach the intracacies of Excel for any purpose a student wants to learn.

Teaching Style

While there are certain concepts that require memorization, I usually create scenarios and practical situations for the use of Excel so students understand and develop their critical thinking skills. This is important because they become independent rather than relying on someone giving them the answers. This has been proven in numerous psychological studies.
