"My undergraduate degree is in finance with a minor in statistics. While doing this degree I passed two actuary exams and tutored finance, statistics, and calculus. I had 100% positive feedback as a tutor and had to extend my hour because I was overbooked. At this time I was a leader and analyst on my university's investment team. I also managed a small $75k portfolio of stocks and options. During my senior year I interned as a financial analyst.

My M.S. degree is in statistics and I managed to graduate with a 3.9 GPA. During this time I did a graduate Actuarial internship. My thesis topic was statistical modeling of large data sets with cluster computing.

Since graduating with my masters in statistics I have been working in a data science / research capacity. My day to day involves data manipulation, predictive modeling, and other data science topics.
