"Hi everyone! My name is Justin and I am currently finishing up my last year of medical school. I graduated magna cum laude from my undergraduate with a major in Biology and a minor in Physics. I have been tutoring since 2018. I started in undergrad, where I volunteered for 2 years for a tutoring group called "The Perfect Tutor" in undergrad, where I tutored my peers in various subjects ranging from biology, chemistry, physics, and calculus. After I graduated undergrad in 2020, I took a gap year and tutored for Chegg, where I again tutored biology, chemistry, physics, calculus, and writing to students virtually. In medical school, I worked as an anatomy tutor for one year, tutoring anatomy to first years in the cadaver lab.
I enjoy tutoring students because for me, it is a two way street, where I get to help the student out by teaching them, but also reinforcing the concept for me. As you may probably tell from my current enrollment in medical school, I have a strong background in the sciences having excelled in the science courses as a pre-med. I have found tutors to be very helpful into getting me to where I am today, and am happy to pay it forward. Also, having gone through the process of getting into medical school, I am also happy to help with advising on medical school applications and essays. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a lesson, looking forward to working with you!" less...
