"Hello, my name is Ben C. and I am currently employed as an Instructor for a Surgical Technology Program in Roanoke, Virginia. For those not familiar with the profession, Surgical Technologists assist surgeons during all types of procedures; our responsibilities include gathering and setting up all equipment and instrumentation needed for surgery, maintaining a sterile field in the Operating Room, and working with the surgeon during the case. It is one of the most rewarding fields in healthcare and I am proud to be a part of it. For the past seven years, I have been training students in the practical skills of the profession and enjoy watching students grow from people unfamiliar with all things surgical to students with the confidence, skills, and drive to become successful Surgical Techs. Teaching is something I truly enjoy and am passionate about; I have been fortunate to encounter great teachers in my life who taught me not only certain skills, but how to be a better husband, father, and person. Currently, in addition to Surgical Technology, I work as a Personal Trainer in the YMCA.
I am looking to take what I have learned over the years in bodyweight training and pass it on to others who share my love for this modality. Aside from being a great way to stay in shape, calisthenics cost nothing to pract" less...
