"Hello. My name is Ebube N., and I am a third-year college student transferring from Computer Engineering at Purdue University to Computer Science at Oral Roberts University. I have experience tutoring grades K-9 and specific topics such as Geometry, Trig, Algebra I & II, and Pre-Calculus up to Calculus 2. One of my best skills is breaking down complicated parts of topics into ways kids can understand and relate to, making it easier for them to grasp the subject.
In high school, I scored a 780 on SAT Math, 34 on ACT Math, and 4's in AP Calc AB and BC.
I also spent three years as a member and eventually president of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Junior Chapter in Central Columbus. I would tutor kids in the chapter who needed aid in topics ranging from Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calculus. As their math team captain, I led them to back-to-back wins in our annual regional math competition (2017 & 2018), also placing 3rd in the spring regional math competition between the two (2018).
As a freshman in college, I spent a semester assistant teaching 7th-grade Algebra for a year at Wainwright Middle School in West Lafayette, Indiana. The teacher would give a 10-minute lesson, and for the remainder of the class, I would go around helping the kids through their work, ensuring they understood the material.
I can do one-on-one lessons teaching your children the topic of choice, tutoring, or helping them study for upcoming quizzes, tests, exams, etc." less...
