"Hi everyone! My name is Jay, and I am a senior at Nova Southeastern University located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Next Fall, I will be attending Penn Dental Medicine as of right now. I also got waitlisted from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. I have an affinity for teaching students, especially for math and science.
I took the Dental Admissions Test (DAT) and scored a 98% percentile on my first try. I received an Academic Average 24 with a Total Science of 24 as well. My subsections include: 27 Organic Chemistry, 24 General Chemistry, 23 Reading Comprehension, 23 Quantitative Reasoning, and 23 Biology. I have learned multiple tricks in mastering content and knowing what resources to use for any subject.
I have experience in tutoring whether it's one-on-one or even in groups. In the past year, I tutored a large group of students in Organic Chemistry. From that experience, I learned that each student is in a different state and it is very important to be patient and learn to make them feel more comfortable to gain their trust. I have also taught all types of math including geometry, algebra, and elementary.
