"Hello, my name is Jeanine G.

I am a retired AP Art educator with over 25 years of teaching experience, including 15 years in Plano ISD at Plano West Senior High School and Jasper High School. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of guiding countless young artists in developing strong, college-ready portfolios and preparing them for success on the AP Art and Design exams.

As an AP Reader and former College Board consultant, I’ve scored national portfolios and helped shape assessment standards for the Texas State Board of Education. Over the years, the cumulative success of my students’ portfolios consistently ranked me among the top AP Art educators in Texas (#1) and the United States (#3). One of my proudest moments as an educator came during the pandemic, when my entire class’s AP portfolios earned recognition as the #1 highest-scoring group in Texas. -a remarkable accomplishment during such a difficult time.

My former students have gone on to pursue successful careers in architecture, design, and engineering, attending top institutions such as RISD, SCAD, ArtCenter College of Design, Ringling College of Art and Design, Washington University, MIT, and many more.

Now retired from the classroom (as of 2023), I’m excited to offer private tutoring and portfolio coaching for students aiming to excel in AP Art and build competitive portfolios for college admissions.
