"I am a former college professor from Brown University with a PhD in mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin and over 10 years of experience teaching math. I've taught all levels of calculus, pre-calculus, differential equations, linear algebra and more.

I have excellent student evaluations because I listen to my students and can adapt to multiple learning styles. I help my students truly understand the material so that they know where the formulas come from instead of having to memorize them. The point of math is to stretch the mind and teach critical thinking, so understanding the material is crucial and simply memorizing formulas will not get you very far.
