"Hello, I'm Vanessa! I have a background in teaching and book publishing (most recently as an editor of French textbooks and online programs for middle schoolers and high schoolers) in addition to tutoring. I work with middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults.

I hold a BA in English & French and an MFA in Literature & Creative Writing. As an undergraduate, I spent one academic year studying abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France, where I studied French language, history, and culture at L'Université Aix-Marseille III—previously known as L'Université Paul Cézanne. I am also a member of Phi Sigma Iota, the International Foreign Language Honor Society. While in graduate school, I continued my French studies by taking translation and literature courses.

I enjoy helping students at all levels and work with junior high, high school, and adult French students. Sessions can support a class at school, help to catch a student up with the next course in a French series or with a new school's curriculum, focus on conversation, or work as independent study to suit you/your student's goals." less...
