"Hello Everyone! I am a graduate teaching assistant at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, OH in the mathematics department. Previously, I have taught Calculus at a private school in Beachwood, OH, and worked as an undergraduate math tutor. I have several years of tutoring experience with high school and college students in topics from basic Algebra to Real Analysis. My favorite subject to work on with students is Linear Algebra, since it is a common language in many mathematical and engineering disciplines and is really interesting in it's own right. I utilize MATLAB/Octave and Python for computations where appropriate.

The structure of a tutoring session with me can be whatever you are most comfortable with. If we need to completely rediscover an idea, that's totally okay. If you just need some clarification and want to lead the session by asking questions, that's great. If you don't know what you don't know, we'll figure it out and go from there. It is YOUR session and you have the right to run it how you want.

A few side notes:

1. I have two types of cancellation fees. One is for cancelling a lesson within the 2 hour range. While this may impact my day it does not prevent me from being productive during that time so I will only charge $10.00 for this. The other is for a "no-call-no-show" which is a legitimate waste of my time and I will assess a charge for the entire planned lesson. I reserve the right to make exceptions to this in the event of emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.

2. I will not assist in original research that is to be submitted for academic credit; e.g. Master's or Doctoral Theses.

3. I wholeheartedly believe in academic integrity and will in no way assist a student in cheating in a course." less...
