"Hello, I have experience working as a tutor from my high school French honor's society and continued to volunteer as a French tutor for my first few years at St. Mary's College of Maryland. Since transferring to UMD, I have participated in a couple Intern for a Day programs at local schools where I have visited French classes and helped students during instruction as needed. In addition to my experience as a French tutor and volunteer at local schools, I also have facilitated English Conversation group meetings for students learning English as a second language where I have intstructed ten lessons about various topics including family, nature, films, hobbies etc. My favorite part about tutoring is helping students succeed in developing their literacy skills through interactive lesson plans and personalized instruction.

I have served as a facilitator this past spring semester for the English Conversation Program at UMD this past Spring where I have organized lessons for students interested in improving their English skills. I hope to continue serving as a facilitator for this program in the summer.
