"Hi, I’m Emma – an Ivy League graduate and passionate educator.

From the Big City NYC to the City Beautiful Orlando, I’ve taught elementary students of all ages and subjects. I hold a Master of Arts in Sociocultural Anthropology from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Central Florida, with a concentration in Behavioral and Social Sciences and Modern Languages. My academic foundation spans cultural studies, history, religion, anthropology, and modern languages.

I tutor all elementary subjects, but my area of expertise is in social studies, reading, writing, history, and other social sciences and humanities. I work in one to one and small group tutoring sessions. This includes essay help and editing, reading improvement, homework help, exam preparations, and advanced lessons for motivated or gifted students. Students of all ages are welcome.

As a kindergarten teacher, elementary tutor, after-school K-8 mentor, and adult educator, I have developed a flexible teaching style that adapts to and includes students' individual needs. Additionally, as a Walt Disney World Company cast member, I was able to perfect my skills of connection with all kinds of people and bringing out the joy and imagination within us all.
