"I am a college junior at Colorado Christian University. I work extremely hard and am on track to graduate in three years with a double major Finance and Business and two emphasis in Accounting and Data Analytics. I have taken and performed well in every math class I have taken including Algebra 1, 2 Geometry, Finance, Accounting and two different levels of college statistics. So with that said I am no stranger to numbers.

I have been seriously tutoring math for about 4 years. Starting with my younger brother and eventually expanding to family friends and even other students recommended to me. Those tutoring sessions consist of 1-2 students and have been mostly in person but have definitely had some experience online. I have the most experience teaching students between the ages of 10-16 and primarily taught middle school math and high school Algebra 1 and 2. I understand everyone learns differently and my greatest strength is being able to find a way to teach math in a way that is easy to understand, apply and finally achieve that Ah Ha moment we all need to succeed.

I find the biggest struggle students have with math is the "why" behind it. I teach in a fun way that brings meaning to an abstract topic such as math. I use real world and hypothetical examples to show how and why something works.
