"Currently, I am a full time tenured law enforcement and criminal justice instructor at a community college. In respect to my education, I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Law Enforcement and Corrections (double major), a Master's Degree in Education, and I am completing a second Master's Degree in Public Safety.
Since 2002, I have developed and instructed college CJ/LE courses residentially and online. Prior to that, I was a licensed peace officer for twenty-six years. That included thirteen years as a patrol officer and thirteen years as a detective. During that time, I also served as a field training officer (FTO) and undercover narcotics officer. In addition, I am a published author on several criminal justice topics regionally and nationally.
The following are college courses I have *developed and instructed:
1. *Child Abuse and Neglect
2. Security Challenges
3. Cultural Diversity in Criminal Justice
4. *Family Violence
5. *Financial Fraud/White Collar Crime
6. *Homeland Security
8. *Patrol Operations
9. *Persons/Property Crimes
10. *Policing in America
11. *Report Writing/Employee Preparation
12. *Police and Community
13. *Juvenile Justice
14. *Constitutional Law for Criminal Justice Professionals
