"Hello! I wanted to give everyone a brief description of myself and my approach to tutoring. I recently graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler with a major in History. However, despite my major, I was exposed to numerous academic fields, including English, Political Science/International Affairs, Research and Thesis Writing, and numerous social sciences, just to name a few. I have also been employed at a local college for several years, which has been beneficial in teaching me the other side to academia- the instructional side. I am currently working toward my teacher's certification in Social Studies 8-12, which will be completed by June 1, 2012.

I understand that each student is a unique individual; therefore I do not believe in a completely structured approach. Each pupil must be tutored in a way that speaks to them and makes the material more understandable and entertaining.
I love learning and want you to love it, too!" less...
