A graduate of the legendary New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, I earned my Masters in Education from Loyola Marymount University and I hold California state teaching credentials in both Multiple Subject K-8 and English: Single Subject K-12.

My extensive training has granted me over twenty years of classroom experience and helped to spawn innovative workshops that focus on building communication skills, literacy skills, social skills, self-esteem, and confidence. I love helping students organize their work so that you can feel successful and discover that spark that makes you feel like you can accomplish your goals.

I specialize in teaching reading and writing. I can help you assemble a report or a paper, get you on track for preparing assignments and completing homework on schedule and manage your work flow. For younger students, I am an expert on instruction in letter recognition, sight words, and other early literacy skills.
