"Hi there!

My name is Glencora! I received my B.S. in Geology (Environmental Geochemistry) from the College of William and Mary. I graduated Magna Cum Laude and helped tutor high school and college aged students in lecture/lab environments in the areas of geometry, algebra, chemistry, physics and earth sciences. I like to have the same curricula as the students to ensure that we are focused on exactly what areas need improvement. I am patient and encouraged question asking. Some of these concepts can be frustrating for students to understand and taking a slow, methodical and engaging approach is exponentially more successful in my experience. I have been tutoring students for over ten years now. I am a perpetual student myself and enjoy helping students feels proud of themselves as scholastic athletes! If they have the necessary tools they can succeed in any area they desire!

I enjoy 1-on-1 tutoring in a calm and welcoming environment either in the students home or a public area such as a library. I find that one on one students are less intimidated and more willing to express confusion and concern and ask many more questions.
