Jokes aside, my experiences both professional and personal are what make me a fantastic tutor. I was born in France and raised in West Africa and the Americas, I fluently speak French, English and Spanish, attending school in all 3 languages. I graduated summa cum laude in Anthropology and Religious Studies with a TESOL certificate. I also worked as a TA in the English/Lit/ Writing honors programs and for the depts of Anthropology and Religious Studies.

I have lived and worked the past 10 yrs as a teacher, and a guide for Nat Geo. My favorite subjects to teach are Spanish, French (language, culture, history), world history, social studies, Language Arts/reading/literature and writing. I am familiar with both IB and AP programs and am skilled at doing test-prep or essay-writing help for the aforementioned subjects.

I am a particularly passionate instructor of languages and culture as these grant learners access to futures they might not have considered or been considered for prior and promote intercultural exchanges.

My experiences have given me a strong set of transferable skills, insight and resources to bring to my pupils. I am proactive, consistent and meticulous in my work, but I make sure to add a dash of humour and fun to everything that I do.
