I'm Gary and I love math and science.

I know these subjects can be hard, and I know they can be intimidating, but I also know that you can do it, and that I can help you.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Master's degree in Education. I've been working in the Aerospace & Defense industry for nearly 40 years, and I've helped a lot of people understand complex designs, tease apart bureaucratic processes, think creatively about how best to do their jobs, and learn how to enjoy themselves at work. I was a corporate trainer for many of those years and earned several awards and countless accolades from my students, praising me for my energy, enthusiasm, and ability to connect at their level.

In the 1990's, I taught math skills at Pima Community College in Tucson Arizona. While there, I earned the Outstanding Adjunct Faculty of the Year Award as voted on by the students. It's through this experience that I found the courage to get my advanced degree in Education. While many of my peers were getting advanced degrees in Engineering, I decided to take a tangent and get a degree in Education because that is when I felt the most fulfilled.

Most importantly, I have two daughters whom I love dearly. For many years, I helped my daughters with math and science skills as they were growing up. One is now graduated with an Economics Degree, and the other is nearly finished with her Law Degree. While I can't take all the credit, I believe they are both productive, confident women partially because of their dad's passion for education.

Now I have a little granddaughter, who is rekindling my enthusiasm for elementary math and science and re-igniting my desire and passion for helping kids like you be successful.

Together, we can discover how to understand complex formulas, tease apart math processes, think creatively about how best to do our homework, and learn how to enjoy ourselves while doing it.
