"Hello. I am a fourth year veterinary student with a Master's in Biomedical sciences and Bachelor's in Biology. I have always wanted to become a veterinarian since I was in high school, and my dream is finally coming true in one year. As part of my curriculum, I had the opportunity to teach underclassmen in both my master's and veterinary program, and I find it an absolute pleasure to help those in need because I needed all sorts of help to get where I am today. Helping others achieve their goals is one of the most rewarding experiences ever, so I would love to help you.
In my Master's program, I was required to be a teaching assistant for three sections (roughly 80 undergrads per section) for two semesters. These lab sections were taught strictly by the PhD and Master's students and not by the faculty instructor. In my 3rd year of veterinary school, I signed up as a teaching assistant to teach first year students how to perform physical exams on animals, to place IV catheters, bandage limbs, and more.
If there are any aspects of biology (microbiology, genetics, animal physiology, etc) that seem unclear and you need assistance in understanding, I am more than willing to aid you. I promote a positive learning environment through making the subject of biology fun to learn because the field of study is fascinating. I eagerly await your request to learn and hope to see you soon." less...
