"Hi my name is Taylor. I am a current dental student at Creighton University. I graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho spring of 2022 summa cum laude in Biomedical Science. Even though general dentistry has been my goal, I have always loved the sciences especially general chemistry and biology. Beginning my sophomore year, I was a volunteer and then paid general chemistry tutor for my university. I taught all throughout the rest of my undergraduate career and also helped as a lab TA in a general chemistry lab setting. Due to COVID, I have taught both in person and online via zoom and know effective ways to teach without being in person.
After graduating in the spring, I became a Biology Lab Adjunct Faculty teacher. There we focused on implementing the basic principles of biology and general chemistry. Throughout my undergraduate program I have taught students one on one all the way to groups of 30+ in a classroom setting mainly focusing on college aged students 18-25+ but would love to experience teaching high school aged students as well.
As a current dental student in a competitive program I know what it takes to get into dental school. I graduated with a 4.0 and scored a 22 AA on the DAT with a 24 in general chemistry.
