"My name is Steven and I am a double Major at the University of North Florida graduating in Fall 2017. I am almost finished with my degree in Biology and about a quarter way through my Computer Science track.

I have spent 5 years teaching for a middle school after school program called the College Reach Out Program. This program is meant to gear students towards taking AP Human Geography courses in high school. A semester leading elementary students through the nature preserve at UNF educating them on the flora and fauna. After tutoring for two years and still having a passion for teaching students I have recently opened my tutoring business Brain Coaching

My main goal when working with a student is for them to not only understand what is being taught but be able to discuss and have the ability to critically think about a subject. A lot of learning is focused on the memorization of facts and while it is good to have these facts in hand, I believe being able to thoroughly understand a concept allows for greater success when building on the fundamentals." less...
