I’m Robyn, and I’ve working with student writers at ALL levels for more than 15 years, including students with writing anxiety and English-language learners. Writing skills helped me win admission to my "reach" college and that sparked my passion to help others. I hold a BA and MA in English from Georgetown, and a TESOL certificate and Ph.D. in Writing and Rhetoric from George Mason University; I also won a Fulbright scholarship to teach in Budapest.

I specialize in helping students confidently tackle some of the most important (and high stress!) academic writing tasks we face: applications and personal statements for their dream schools; entrance exams like TOEFL, SAT/GRE Writing; and large projects like term papers, theses and dissertations.
