"Hi future students! I'm Anthony and a native of sunny Phoenix, Arizona. I earned a degree in math and economics from Georgetown University and an MBA in Finance from Arizona State University. I started teaching in high school (chess and math) and have continued working with students over the past 15 years. I specialize in helping middle-school students and high-school students in math, standard testing, and chess--I can cover everything from the content to test-taking strategies to setting expectations with yourself to handling pre-test jitters. Standardized tests in particular put a lot of pressure on students, and I help them develop healthier study and test-taking habits.
