A bit about me: I graduated from Georgetown University, where I pursued a double major in Linguistics and Spanish (plus a minor in Creative Writing) and earned a 3.86 GPA. Before that, I attended twelve years at St. Mark's School of Texas, which Niche ranks as the #1 All-Boys High School in the country. It was there, at an independent school, that I first received the nurturing and specialized attention necessary to hone my writing and develop a strong voice. Armed with the wisdom of experienced writers, teachers, and tutors, I was able to parlay a newly-honed pen into a successful college career.

That said, learning to write well isn't just a tool to boost grades and get into an elite college; rather, it's a practical skill that pays dividends every single day: the ability to communicate your thoughts effectively, expressively, and in a voice that's distinctively you. By lowering the barrier between What's In Your Head and What's On The Page, you'll be able make your mark on the written world in a way that few others can.

However, I wasn't born a writer. When I was in high school, I saw writing tutors—quite a few, actually. Now, I'm thrilled to be able to pass that level of bespoke attention onto the next generation, and to help younger students discover their voice. Every piece of writing is different—therefore, my job as a tutor will be tailored specifically to the needs of each specific writer and their work.
