"Hello Scholars,

I am a native Houstonian, and a Texas Certified Teacher, who has taught 14+ years in public schools, at the Secondary level. I am a graduate of the Kinder H.S. for Performing Arts, (1998), I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and a Master's in Educational Administration and Leadership from the University of St. Thomas.

I am currently an 8th grade English Language Arts teacher, who works closely with LEP/EB, GT, Regular, and Special Education student populations. I strategically craft whole group, small group, and tutoring lessons that are tied to and aligned with grade-level requirements and State Standards/TEKS. I can provide a plethora of strategies related to the following areas: Grammar, Reading Comprehension, Test-Taking Strategies, Writing, and Research.
