"I firmly believe all students can succeed with hard work and good study habits. I believe students benefit from being taught material in a way that is individual to their own way of thinking and may need concepts presented to them in a different way than they are taught in their classrooms. Beyond tutoring single subjects, I work with students to ensure they possess strong organizational and planning skills, learn to study efficiently and effectively, and "learn how to learn". With over 10 years of experience in education, I was recently asked to participate in the Woodland Public Library’s “Adulting 101” series, and lead workshops on organization and study skills.

I completed the UC Davis multiple subject teaching credential program in 2019, but found myself drawn to continuing one-on-one and small group work rather than public school teaching. For the past several years, I worked with a family to act as a “pod teacher” during the time of “Zoom School” and then continued on to provide additional individualized support for these students. Prior to this, I graduated Magna Cum Laude at CSUS with a bachelor's in Liberal Studies and have worked in varying educational settings since 2012.
